Ajna - (Third-Eye) Brow Chakra
The third eye chakra is located at your brow or in the middle of your forehead just above your eyes. It is the sixth chakra and it is connected with intuition and intellect. The word ajna translates to “perceiving” or “command. Therefore, the third eye chakra is related to how you perceive the world. It is where you connect with your inner guidance and is all about self-reflection, imagination, and insight. It allows you to navigate through the world not only seeing it but truly understanding it. An affirmation we can associate with the third eye chakra is, “I see clearly.”
When the third eye chakra is balanced we feel in tune with our intuition and our life’s purpose. We have faith in our perception of reality and trust our intuition. Also, we have balance between creativity and logic as well as reason and emotion. Therefore, we view life with clarity and possess the ability to self-examine and grow.

Also, it is vital that you examine any limiting beliefs you might have. Common ones usually concern your self-worth, love, or money. Remember, limiting beliefs aren’t true and you must let them go. Still, this can take a lot of work and time but go a great way towards healing your third eye chakra.

For example, limiting exposure to fluoride, excess calcium, and heavily processed foods and instead eating organic, whole foods helps with this. Also, it is believed that practicing candle gazing during meditation helps to activate third eye as well.
It is said that the third eye is our greatest asset when connecting with source, the divine, your higher self, and the universe. There is a reason why it is nearly impossible to have a discussion about a spiritual awakening without the mentioning of the third eye.
